I am overwhelmed by the response of all my family and friends regarding my medical situation. I can never thank you all enough for all you have done and are doing for myself and my family. The benefit is only a few weeks away and the donations that are coming in are amazing. My sister’s house is filled with them!! So many people are attending the benefit as well which is amazing. My good HS friend who lives in Texas is flying in and many are driving from afar. There are people coming I have not seen in years. It will be a reunion and a huge party to celebrate my birthday and my life. I am so happy to show my children how blessed we are to live in this community. I am frequently asked why Wes and I decided to stay in Maine and the last few months have shown us the biggest reason!! We could not be doing what we are doing now without all the love and support of our friends, family and this community!!
